It was with great sadness that NIPANC heard of the death of Dame Deborah James.
A courageous, creative and inspirational campaigner, Deborah did much in her too short life to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis of cancers and of funding research into
effective treatments.
Her example inspires us all and her legacy lies with all whose lives she touched in her campaigning to challenge mind-sets regarding cancers.
Rest in peace Deborah
