Great news!
You can now set up a fundraiser for NIPANC on Facebook. The fundraiser could be for your birthday instead of receiving gifts; it could be to take on a challenge or perhaps to remember a loved one on a special anniversary.
Setting up a Facebook Fundraiser is quick and easy and you can share your target and progress with family and friends.
Facebook charges no fees on donations made so every penny your friends and family donate through a Facebook fundraiser comes directly to NIPANC.
Follow these simple steps to set up your Facebook fundraising page:
Sign in to Facebook and search ‘Fundraisers’ in your news feed
Set your fundraising target and an end date – Your page will close within 7 days if you do not update the closing date.
Name your fundraiser and add some information about why you’re fundraising.
Choose a cover photo or upload your own image.
Click ‘Create’ and share your fundraiser with your friends.
Make sure to tell your personal story if you already have a connection to pancreatic cancer; a lost loved one perhaps?
Share the facts about pancreatic cancer:

3 in 5 patients could have had surgery to cure their pancreatic cancer but were diagnosed too late
Remember to thank your friends and family for their contributions and tag them in any posts. Keep them up to date with progress by sharing photos and video clips.
