NIPANC is a member of the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition (WPCC). The WPCC is a collective of pancreatic cancer patient advocacy organizations from around the world which came together in 2013 to discuss working together to raise global pancreatic cancer awareness and work collaboratively to support each other’s efforts. The Coalition swiftly moved to action with the launch of the inaugural World Pancreatic Cancer Day in 2014.
The next World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day is on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 and at its annual general meeting last week the WPCC agreed on a campaign to create greater global impact.
The World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition (WPCC) is now searching for stories from those affected to help highlight THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME in our lives as it relates to this devastating disease.
We would be incredibly grateful if you have a story to tell, you share it with the WPCC and the world. By informing the WPCC that NIPANC requested that you kindly share your story, we will have the chance to receive funding towards a social media awareness campaign during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. The WPCC will send you a 2021 WPCD “It’s About Time” collectible sticker sheet as a small token of its appreciation.
If you have a story to share click here.
You will be asked to provide your name, the subject of your story, when the story took place, how pancreatic cancer was discovered, and the impact of TIME in your story.
You’ll also have the opportunity to share photos and videos if you wish.
If you have a story to tell we’d love to hear it as well. Please drop an email to socialmedia@nipanc.org
Thank you for your continued support.
