At NIPANC, we have always believed that #TimeMatters. Whether it is the time taken to spot a vague symptom, the time spent with loved ones, or the time dedicated to life-saving research, every second counts.Today, we are proud to mark a new chapter in our journey with the launch of the fully redeveloped NIPANC website. Why the Change? Our purpose is to improve outcomes for people affected by pancreatic cancer in Northern Ireland through awareness, research, and support. As the NIPANC family has grown, so too has the need for a digital platform that is accessible, user-friendly, and supportive for everyone who turns to us for information or help.To bring this vision to life, we partnered with Belfast-based digital agency Green17. Their reputation for creating high-impact, user-focused websites made them a natural choice to help us build a better online experience for patients, families, and supporters.Built for Our CommunityThis redevelopment wasn’t just about a fresh look. It was about making sure that when someone in Northern Ireland searches for help or information, they can find it quickly, clearly, and without barriers.Working closely with the team at Green17, we focused on several key areas:Accessible for AllIn line with WCAG 2.2 standards, the new site is designed to be usable by everyone, regardless of technology or ability.User-Friendly DesignThrough user research and testing, we’ve streamlined the journey through the site. Whether you’re looking for symptoms, support, or a way to donate, what you need is easy to find.A Word from Green 17“Working with NIPANC was about far more than delivering a new website – it was about creating a digital space that genuinely reflects the compassion, lived experience and tireless work behind the charity. By putting real people and real stories front and centre, and designing clear, supportive journeys for those seeking information, help or ways to get involved, the new site strengthens NIPANC’s objectives while making support and fundraising feel natural, human and accessible. We’re really grateful to the NIPANC team for trusting us with their website, and look forward to continuing to support them with their digital strategy.”Amy Bleakly, Head of Client Services at Green17 A Word from Ivan McMinn MBE“This new website represents a significant step forward for NIPANC and for everyone who relies on us for clear, trusted information and support. I want to sincerely thank the team at Green 17 for the care, professionalism and sensitivity they brought to this project. They understood that this was not just about design, but about people — and that shows in every part of the site.I’m also hugely grateful to the NIPANC website project team who oversaw this work from start to finish — Trustee Lisa Strutt, Fundraising Manager Gary Kirby, and our graphic design wizard Roisin Bradley. Their time, attention to detail and commitment to doing this properly ensured that the voices and needs of our community were at the heart of every decision. On behalf of the Board, thank you to everyone involved in creating a digital home that truly reflects who we are and who we exist to support.”Ivan McMinn MBE, Chairperson, NIPANCBuilt for the NIPANC FamilyOur new website is designed to support the whole NIPANC family — patients, families, supporters, fundraisers and healthcare professionals — by making it easier to find trusted information, access support, and stay connected with our work.We hope this new digital home feels welcoming, supportive and easy to use. We’d love to hear what you think.
