Grants for Healthcare Practitioners

Are you a nurse, doctor or other health and social service practitioner involved in the care or treatment of Pancreatic Cancer patients or likely to be so in the near future?

Do you want to know more about this Cancer and how you can help to improve its detection, care and treatment?

Do you have training opportunities to learn more but you can‘t access them through lack of funding or having to take them in your own time?

Through our partnership with Kingsbridge, we can offer and host clinician training sessions accredited by the Kingsbridge Training Academy. These sessions provide recognised CPD points for participating clinicians. If you are a healthcare professional keen to learn more, or if you would like to arrange a session for your GP practice or healthcare team, please get in touch to discuss how we can support you.

NIPANC can help!

NIPANC is supporting training by making available grants to help practitioners improve their knowledge of Pancreatic Cancer. If you want to know more about Pancreatic Cancer but can’t get funding to attend a course, or can only do so in your own time, NIPANC is offering grants of up to £200 to open the door to your training.

Symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer Master Class

Hepatobiliary surgeons, Professor Mark Taylor and his former colleague, Mr Tom Diamond both Trustees of NIPANC, join national health journalist, Jacqui Thornton for a Master Class in pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

The film’s aim is to support GPs and medical professionals in their diagnosis of the illness because symptoms can be vague, complex and often masquerade as less life-threatening health conditions.

Further Information

Email support@nipanc.org giving us a brief outline of your situation, the training opportunity that you have identified and how we can help you to access the training that you need.

NIPANC grants are not a substitute for health service funding but rather targeted at filling a training gap where such funding is not otherwise available. We have limited funds to support such training and will consider each case on its merits.
