PedalThePeriphery is an epic endurance event that challenges teams to cycle 480 miles non-stop in 48 hours around Northern Ireland, all in a team relay format.

Co-founded in 2023 by sisters Andrea Harrower and Cathy Booth, this major fundraising and awareness-raising event has quickly become a flagship fixture for NIPANC, Northern Ireland’s only local pancreatic cancer charity.

Since its launch, PedalThePeriphery has evolved into a hugely successful annual team challenge. Since 2024, over 300 riders across 30 teams have taken on the adventure, helping raise an incredible £385,000 over three years for NIPANC’s vital work.

How It Works

Teams of between 2 and 12 riders take on the 480-mile route in a relay format, with just one team member on the road at any given time. This unique setup allows participants of varying experience levels to take part, from seasoned cyclists to first-time fundraisers, all united by one shared purpose: to pedal for pancreatic cancer awareness.

Our entry platform has been designed with maximum flexibility in mind.

  • The Team Captain starts by selecting “Create a New Team”.

  • Once the team is set up, any team member can register and pay for themselves, or for up to 11 additional team members.

  • A registration form must be completed for each participant being paid for.
