PedalThePeriphery returns for its fifth year, and this time we're changing direction!

One of NIPANC's biggest fundraising events returns from 4–6 June 2027, bringing teams of cyclists together for an extraordinary 480-mile challenge around the periphery of Northern Ireland, completed in just 48 hours.

And this year, there's a twist. For the first time in the event's history, the route will be reversed, with teams travelling anti-clockwise around Northern Ireland, bringing a fresh challenge to returning riders and newcomers alike.

More Than Just a Cycling Challenge

Since its launch in 2023, PedalThePeriphery has brought together more than 600 participants across 61 teams, raising over £600,000 to support NIPANC's work.

But PedalThePeriphery has always been about much more than cycling. It's about people coming together, pushing themselves, supporting one another and making a difference for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Every mile helps raise awareness of the disease and vital funds to support NIPANC's work across Northern Ireland.

The 2027 Challenge

The event begins at Lisburn Rugby Football Club on Friday 4 June, with teams departing at staggered intervals before taking on the 480-mile route around Northern Ireland.

Over the following 48 hours, riders will tackle the challenge in relay teams, supported by their teammates and event crews, before crossing the finish line at Wallace High School, Lisburn, on Sunday 6 June.

The event takes place on open roads, with riders responsible for following the Highway Code. Full route information and navigation guidance will be provided ahead of the event.
