Herman Manso is currently undertaking an extraordinary challenge: a 14-day, 530-mile run around the periphery of Northern Ireland to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer with NIPANC.Now into the second half of the challenge, Herman has already covered hundreds of miles in relentless winter conditions — battling wind, rain, cold, tough trail sections and long, exposed coastal roads. This is not a one-off endurance event. It’s day after day of marathon-plus distances, with very limited recovery time, and the physical and mental toll is real.Despite the conditions, Herman has kept going with grit, humour and an unwavering focus on why he’s doing this — to help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and to support people and families across Northern Ireland who are affected by the disease.
